Workflow

This page describes all the tasks needed to get one card into the core release. Each suggestion must follow these steps to be considered core.

Card Creation Process

• Suggest
  • Post idea in Forums/Cardscape. Forum post should mandatory include: card title and type, faction, cost and threshold and card text, card image is optional
  • Review and Revise in Forums
  • Mark for Playtesting
• Playtest
  • Prepare placeholder .jpg image
  • Update LackeyCCG Developer's Patch
  • Playtest in a standard deck (playtesting should be covered as a separate topic maybe)
  • Playtest in a deck designed to break the card
  • Playtest much longer in custom decks
  • If the card needs revision, discuss it and go back to Playtest
  • Mark for Core
• Release
  • Request and/or get finalized art
  • Prepare card in Scribus
  • Export card into specified formats: for printing, lo-res b&w proxy, medium and large size JPEG files, pdf and whatnot.
  • Make available for download on WTactics.org
  • Update LackeyCCG Player's Patch
