IRC does the job well indeed. Problem I se is it's volatile nature, plus I'm a rare guest there due to various reasons.

What I wanted is more towards:
Inspirational board, where we can share some things we are finding on a regular basis, browsing the Big Sucker - music, literature, other projects
Motivational place, where I could ask you how do you fight your weaknesses
and so on. Basically things that are not meaningful directly to the project, but are worth keeping for indirect beenefits.

That was my reasoning. I know yours, and I have to agree with that.
