Changes in this version :
The copper is redder.
Also, the clean version was updated.

Changes in the clean version :
The unused elements from the Gaian Template were removed.
The gradients from previous versions were removed.
The remaining gradients were renamed.
The invisible, unselectable elements that were in the file were removed.
The files for these changes are Dirt Version 3.svg, Dirt Version 2 Clean.svg and Pictures/Card - Dirt 5a.png

If anyone has any ideas on how to improve the template, please tell me.

Keep the cleanup + see if it's possible to fix the missplaced(?) line that I show in attached image.
It is better to revert the copper to less satured, kind of like the one in d) that I showed in some post ago. Maybe also display 3-4 "dull/unsuatured" variants of the copper, put next to each other for comparisson.

Except for that and logo I think we're almost there.

The misplaced line is now fixed in the clean version.

I think 5c is the best one and that we can go with it, unless Q_x objects, in which case we'd use whatever he says.

5c side framing of Red Banner Event template

What I'm speaking of can be seen above. Would you mind keeping the colour of the side framing, and apply it to the rest so that is on par with how the Gaian template has been done?

Above is a pic of the Gaian original. Click to enlarge, if needed be.

1, 2 & 3 are all using identical colours. In addition 1 & 2 should be identical in all other regards as well, but mirrored, obviously.

6 & 7 are also both identical, but they also of course differ from 1,2 & 3 and should be some variant of the "base" colour.

Then we have the framing of the loyalty symbols 4, and the logo, 5. They are close to 1,2,3, but do probably use a slightly different tone of them.

I've said it all already. No objections regarding card frame. The banner itself needs some love, but I guess that's obvious.

I personally liked most the vibrant orange-ish version, that's fourth, or second from the bottom. But that's only a personal preference, the only rational reason being it makes pink in the back look less pink.

I'd be happy to play with the colors on my own, but this won't happen for at least a month, sadly, so you may as well continue. I'll be offline from about 20th for 2-3 weeks, and have a really busy week before that.

Then we go with 5c. If Q_x tweaks colours later on it will be announced, but for now let's proceed with 5c.

Would you believe me if I said that the diffrence between 5c and the previous version is more green in 5c?

About the colours, I know that 1 and 2 as well as 6 and 7 are identical (that's the good thing about gradients). I'm not sure about what you mean by 1, 2 and 3 being identical, since the elements don't share a gradient. 4 is indeed similar to the others and 5 is quite obviously different from the others (silver instead of copper).

Well, it's barely been more than a day and I already changed from 5c to 6a.

It seems like just yesterday I was saying how I got a new version in a day. Now almost a month has passed without anything going on!

This was discussed between me and snowdrop, but we realized that the previous version wasn't good because it was too uniform. Well hopefuly this fixes it.

After much ado about nothing from my side and having forced Mat's hands trillion times, I declare the quest for the Red Banner template over when it comes to the Event-template: We will stick to 5c. (The later ones posted in this thread are too vividly/neoon-red to be in line with the fantasy theme and/or the Gaian template...)

5c needs two minor fixes though:

1. The flag colours can be nailed better. I have one suggestion in https://owncube.com/public.php?service= ... 20snow.svg where I have also adjusted the loyalty-symbols colours to darker tones, which I think worked out very well. In addition, we need to figure our what the flag borders should look like, but I guess it depends on the flags base colouring....

2. The loyalty icons aren't the new fancy ones you created = P
